About the Danish Camping Board

The Danish Camping Board acts as a link between owner organisations, user organisations and the authorities.

The Camping Board approves, classifies and monitors campsites in Denmark – 476 altogether.

Based on the Camping Board’s classification system, campsites are given a star rating, and the standard of campsites is monitored at least one each year by the Danish Camping Board’s consultants. 4 star and 5 star sites are monitored twice each year.

This is the Danish Camping Board’s guarantee that the campsites fulfil the requirements associated with the star rating given.

The Danish Camping Board operates the Scandinavian Camping Card scheme in Denmark.
